On June 30, 2022 we awarded cash prizes to the students pictured here with Rep. Courtney Watson at the Miller Library. Students wrote essays of varying lengths according to grade level as established by Howard County School system. Topics encompassed various issues surrounding the history of Ellicott City. As part of our mission to foster a greater awareness and understanding of the history of Ellicott City and Howard County, we were proud to partner with EC250 during the yearlong celebration and reward these deserving students.
